Privacy Policy

Last Updated: February 7, 2026

At Surfstack (“we”, “us”, “our”), we believe you should own your audience, not rent it. Part of that ownership means respecting your privacy and the privacy of the people who visit your Surfstack profile.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website (surf-stack.com) and our services.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Give Us

  • Account Information: Your name, email address, and account credentials.
  • Payment Information: We use Stripe to process payments. We do not store your credit card details on our servers; Stripe handles that securely.
  • Profile Content: The links, images, text, and other media you choose to display on your Surfstack page.

B. Information We Collect Automatically

  • Usage Data: We collect anonymous data on how visitors interact with your page (e.g., clicks, page views, device type). This allows us to provide you with Analytics.
  • Log Data: Like most hosting providers, our servers automatically record information including IP addresses, browser types, and timestamps for security and debugging purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to provide the service, process your yearly subscription, improve loading speeds, and communicate important updates (like password resets). We do not sell your email address to third parties.

3. Your Visitors’ Privacy

The “Link-in-Bio” Data: We track aggregate metrics (e.g., “100 people clicked your YouTube link”) to give you analytics. We do not track individual visitor behavior across other websites, and we do not build “shadow profiles” of your fans.

4. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party providers to run our infrastructure. We only share the minimum data necessary:

  • Hosting: Secure cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS/RackNerd) to keep your site online.
  • Payments: Stripe (for processing credit cards).
  • CDN: Cloudflare (for fast global loading and security).

5. Your Rights & Ownership

  • Export: You own your content. If you leave Surfstack, you can take your images and text with you.
  • Deletion: You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

6. Security

We take security seriously. We use SSL/TLS encryption for all traffic and follow industry best practices to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
